Theatre + Blogging Apparently Doesn't Mix For Me

Hey so remember how its been FOREVER (literally) since I last posted who knew that working 9 show weeks and trying to keep up with a blog wasn't possible for me, well its nice to learn new things about yourself :) So I didn't read what the last thing I posted was so I guess I will just dive right into the here and now.

currently working on 42nd Street which closes on Wednesday - I feel like a party should be thrown after all is said and done and the obvious theme should be "I SURVIVED" because really this has to be one of the most intense shows across the board to put on. From the actors p.o.v they are tapping/dancing their feet off literally every night ( I know this because I have had to fix the shoes) and then there is the tech 11 pre-set basket for many many many quick changes that I do throughout the show is just unreal. So once this beast closes we open Do Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up, which is a funny little musical about life in Catholic school ( I am looking forward to simple plaid jumpers and white collared shirts - ooh and nun habits)

So in keeping with the whole idea of nomadic post-grad I will be moving to Naples, FL in January to start out on yet another theatre job which I am beyond excited to do and work on and not to mention Florida in the winter time (HELLO !!!) I promise many colorful and gorgeous pictures from my new paradise home when I get there but I still have a couple more months in good ole upstate to tackle :). I cannot begin to express how excited I am about getting to experience the Fall here. It is something that I have always wanted to cross off my list of experiences since I was little. I still need to go through my phone and post up the pictures that I have taken since my last post so I will do that when I get back home today.

(Continuing with my random information dump ...) So I have started taking Zumba classes which is something I would recommend to any and everyone to just try out once and the cool thing about Zumba is that there are so many different kinds no matter who you are you can probably find a class that is just perfect for you. The only thing I would NOT suggest is taking more than one Zumba class a day ( yes Thursday kicked my butt, and it still hurts anytime I move haha)

But that is a glimps of life right now, I will do better about keeping updated. BYEEEE
