Quick before I forget (update) leftover souffle put into a frying pan and cooked like you would an omelet does NOT equal fritata (well at least not for me) what it does equal is me getting antsy halfway through and making some pretty fancy souffle scrambled eggs. So there you go. Now onto my post
So for those of you who aren't familiar with the inner workings of theatre and what all goes into to putting up a show there is a little something that we liked to call tech week (or hell week would also work, so if you ever watched that special on the military or history channel about navy seal marines ... yeah its kind of like that) because of this people have made bank with targeted merchandise geared towards those lucky individuals who have gone through and lived to see the other side. "I Can't Its Tech Week" yeah that pretty much sums everything up. (can't pretty much sums up basic everyday things like dishes, showers, laundry, eating, ooh and my favourite, sleeping - though never fear I always had time for showering :) )I just wanted to explain why its been a while since my last post.
BUT we just opened Anything Goes last night and the audience loved it and the tech was amazing and the actors were extremely talented so it makes everything worth it. After opening night of a show it is a tradition to go to this local bar/restaurant called Curly's I got there and went to that back patio room where most of the company was - it was a beautiful night, not too hot not too cold and there was a little creek streaming by behind the patio and you could see the moon reflecting off the water through the trees and then some bright light caught my eyes ... oh yeah did I mention that the GIGANTIC correctional facility is right across the street !? haha of course it really doesnt bother anyone, or me for that matter I just wanted to be dramatic.
Now for some photo dumping from the past week:
when grocery shopping last night, I just had the strangest feeling like the beauty products were calling my name ... weird

THE COSTUME SHOP !!! hats, hats, and more hats. The picture on the left show the top of the ironing board my boss really likes to collect McDonald's toys and then put them up there - one of the toys from the Madagascar movie is up there and if you set the iron down too hard on just the right spot it starts to sing the song "I like to move it move it, I like to move it move it" and if that happens you are required to dance.

during the second act the wig guy did my hair up for the Opening night after party. Who says girls with short hair don't have hairstyle options has obviously never been around this wig guy before :) (just to you know its my real hair not a wig ...)
